Sheri was already in the office, and walked out after hanging up the phone.  "They'll be here in a minute." She said.
Michel strolled across the yard, "Hello." He said.  Frank scowled. "I'm here for my mare kid." 

Danny walked up beside Michel.

"Our DEAL was that WE keep her! And she had a broke rib, Frank!" Julie growled. "She had it when she got here, it was at least a week old, meaning YOU caused it"

"Eh, accidents happen." Frank shrugged. "Anyways, since the foal died, the mare is rightfully mine." He pointed to the trailer. "I've got the means of transportation, now, lets just hand her over, and there will be no issues."

Danny bite her lip not caring about the stiches trying not to cuss him out.

"One of my farm hands hit her." He shrugged. "There were no legal papers signed saying you get her. I can go back on the deal." He snarled back.

She shook her head. "Law says she should have had VET CARE! And a broke rib could have killed her! Besides, your farm hands didn't take good care of her, did they?" she asked. "Maybe you should fire them"

"Hardly. The broke rib is what killed the foal. Besides, by law, if an animal has a severe injury, like a broke rib, it is animal cruelty not to get it seen by a vet" she said. "You could have brought her to ME, Frank."

Danny cleched her fist noticing her lip was bleeding from how hard she bit it. She let go of her lip.
