Michel stood, staring hard at the ground, not looking up.
The officer handed Julie the paper work. "About the auction ma'm, I'm a horse person. Got three of my own. I hate to see his horses go to waste. They really are nice, but um, they are goin' to an auction that well, isn't to great. What I'm trying to say is, do you know anyone who might want them?"

"I do" she said. "Can you bring them here?" Julie asked, taking the paperwork. She filled it out, taking only a few minutes. She handed it to him.

The officer smiled. "I can arrange that." He took back the paper work, looked them over, then nodded. "The horses should be brought over this evening if everything goes right."

Danny smiled."What was the paper work for?"

"Thanks!" she said, putting her arm around Michel's neck.

"To keep Michel out of trouble" she told Danny.

Michel's cheeks turned bright red.
"Well, I'll try to get the horses here soon. Thank you very much for your time." The officer got into his car, and rove away with Frank inside.

Danny smiled as the officer left.
