Will snorted and took the halter from Danny. He nuzzled Danny, then took Abbie's halter between his teeth. "Come on" he nickered, walking off with her.

Abbie hurried behind him, eager to get away from the man.

Danny growled and pulled her away from him. "What's your business with this horse?"

"I own her!" The man growled, "You stole her, now give her back!!"

"I didn't steal her she's been at these stables!" Danny said motioning behind her. "If you want to remove this horse from here you'll have to talk to Julie." Danny said.

Will lead her into a huge, clean straw with soft, thick bedding. The walls were tall and padded, and the feed and water troughs were full.

Abbie nickered, her voice shaking with fear. "Please don't let him hurt me Will." She whimpered.

"I didn't steal her she's been at these stables!" Danny said motioning behind her. "If you want to remove this horse from here you'll have to talk to Julie." Danny said.

"She broke the fence yesterday! How could she have been here?" He mimicked Danny's words.

"I won't. You know that. I promise" he whispered. "I'll be right back" he said. He walked into the feed room and grabbed a few bales of hay, putting them onto his back. He walked back into the stall and places the bales of hay against a wall, then locked the stall door from the inside. "They can't hear us, and no one can get in"

"She broke the fence yesterday!  How could she have been here?" He mimicked Danny's words. 

"Sir if you want a fight ill gladly give you one but NO horse leaves here until there owner talks to Julie!" Danny said through clenched teeth.

Julie continued to rub Madge. She grabbed her walkie-talkie. "Send him home. I can't talk now, I'm delivering foals" she said into it, to Danny.
