"Here." Jessie handed Julie the pick.

"Thanks" she said, taking the hoof pick. She cleaned out her hoof and found something. She used the pick to pull it out. A nail. "The pick was a blessing. Or we wouldn't have found this until to late" she said, handing him the nail. She put some antiseptic in the hoop and wrapped it

"Oh my gosh!" Jessie exclaimed. "I just cleaned her hoof and didn't see that! Could she have picked it up in the arena?"

"No. It's been there too long for that. Someone probably dropped it in the pasture or her stall by mistake" she said, patting the horse.

"Yep!" Michel said happily as they entered the BLM grounds. A tall woman strode up to them. "Michel right?" She asked. "Yes." Michel replied. "Your here to see that stallion?" "Right again." "Alright, go ahead."
Michel beamed, and picked up speed. They passed corral, after corral of horses. "My stallion is kinda wild so he has to be put in the back." Michel said, embarrassed.
