Michel grunted in Champ's stall. Champ squealed, and a splitting crack sounded in his stall. "Champ, stop... Ive almost got it!" Michel's voice sounded strained.

Julie saw Danny and sighed sadly. She hated seeing her little friend sad. Even though Julie was twice Danny's age, Danny was pretty much her best friend.

Michel was bent over his horses hoof, pulling something from it. "Someone tied his hoof to the wall!" He cried, perspiration dripping from his forehead.

Danny walked into the stall and knelled next to him."Here." Danny said grabbing her pocket knife frim her boot

Champ snorted, and Michel bent down with Danny. "It's wrapped around his hoof really tight." He muttered angrily.
