Julie grabbed Tornado's halter as she dodged, swinging onto him and holding on for dear life.

Tornado screamed louder, and bolted around his stall, bucking madly.

Rose looked at Dogwood, confused. "Why?" She asked. Tango looked at Dogwood, wondering what she would say.

She began to whisper into his ear. "Calm down, now. I saved you, they were gonna kill you" she whispered, trying to calm him.

"He isn't a horse you can exactly trust. Ask Abbie" she said, tossing her mane.

At the word "kill", Tornado flung up his head, reared and thrashed the air with his hooves.

Rose looked down the hall at Abbie's stall. "Why?" She asked again. Tango jumped in, "She doesn't know what she's saying." He said quickly. "Dogwood is just being mean, like all the other mares." He said, looking straight at Jane's stall.

Tornado screamed again, but began to get tired, and soon stood still on wobbly knees, as if waiting for Julie to kill him.
