Danny smiled continuing to hum then asked,"So how old are you?"

"I'm eight" she said, smiling.

"Really you seem younger!?" Danny said looking at her with wide eyes.

She shook her mane. "No, I'm 8" she said.

"Huh. How old are you?" she asked, now realizing happily that her previous method of counting would no longer work. 3 months per owner, or a week for every major beating she thought, but she'd never tell Danny, or anyone, that.
