It looked towards her, it's tawny muzzle sniffing the air.  Willow whinnied.  It nodded and kept going, the cub scampering behind it.

Danny smiled watching it walk away.

Willow smiled, watching the wildlife. A few bobcat cubs paying, fawns chasing each other, birds flitting in and out of the trees.

Danny leaned against Willow and closed her eyes.

Willow relaxed happily and laid her head in her lap, but kept her eyes open and her mind alert.

She nickered softly. A king snake slithered through the grass, its scaly skin gleaming in the sun.
