"Come on boy" she whispered looking into the horse's eyes. "Stargazer. You like that name? Come on Gazer" she said softly leading him into the thickly bedded stall.

He already knew stall's meant food so he walked in and started searching for food he was ragged and skinny his hoofs where cracked and over grown he had tufts of fur gone and looked as though he hadn't slicked off in two years his eye where weepy and his ears had mites

She tapped the feed bucket a few times before closing the door behind her as she walked in after him. "You're wild, aren't you?"

he snorted then sniffed the feed he started eating quickly watching Melissa carefully how do i show her i'm greatful for the food he thought

She smiled, petting him as he ate, trying to get him used to people.

his ears twitched nervously but he kept eating

She started scratching his withers, stroking his side with her other hand . "Star, Stargazer, Gazer" she repeated.

He twitched his ears unsure but if this human was gonna give him food he knew she couldnt be all bad

He swished his tail and turned and sniffed her
