Happy Horse Stables RPG

Skyler pulled herself gracefully onto Starfire, but not before murmuring something to him. He gave a low whinny. She clicked him forward as her gate opened. "One final push..." She murmured. He raised his gait into a trot. She pushed down on her heels and shortened his stride. He held his head high, and you could quickly count 1,2,1,2,1,2 on his hooves. Everyone saw it. Horse and rider, perfectly in sync. Her posting moved with his outer shoulder. The tension in the room was overwhelming.

The judges spoke quietly, the female insisting a thoroughbred winner.
"Her horse is really good. They're in sync, and just look at his stance! They're perfect!"
"He's a non-thoroughbred!"
"What does that have to do with anything?!" Both snapped.
The female sighed, irritated. They, however, had reached a decision by the time Skyler returned to the judging circle. Starfire snorted, tired. Skyler slipped off and Starfire turned to look at her. "Thanks, buddy." She whispered, Starfire nickering a reply.
Michel crossed his fingers so tight they turned white. "Please..." He whispered to himself.

Jessica jogged around in the small turnout pasture. She juked right and left with a slender chocolate brown and white dog on her heels. "Haha! Molly, cut it out!" She giggled. Holly--being the border collie she was--dashed after Jessie nipping gently at the heels on her boots.
