The man glared at Spook, continuing to beat Buck. Buck grunted but still didn't move as Julie rode over. She noticed Sparrow, and the horse being beat, and Spook. She leapt off Ocho and ran at the man.

The fence didn't budge. "It's steel, you can't get through it" Buck groaned. Julie jumped at the man, ripping the whip from his hands. "I'm taking these horses. And the whip. They weren't supposed to be sent here" she growled. Buck sighed with relief when he realized the whip wasn't coming down on him any longer. For now.

Tori slowed Rooster to a halt, she looked around wondering if there were any other people her age. She finally hopped off Rooster, gave him a mint then started to put a halter on him. She also put a halter on Rusty and started to lead them both into their stalls.

Julie saw Sparrow. "Sparrow" she gasped. "I'm sorry" she said. She pulled out 3 halters and lead ropes.

Buck nosed her led, unhooking her hoof. Julie walked into the tiny corral. Buck turned to face her, his eyes clearly showing that he'd protect his mares. "Sparrow, come here girl. Remember me? It'll all be ok now, I'm gonna get you 3 outa here"
