Julie closed the stall door behind her. "It's ok" she said gently.

Julie pulled a tube out of her bag and knelt beside the little mare.

She started to gently put cream on the wounds. "Good girl" she said softly.

Gena picked up her phone and dialed the number to the stables.

Julie's office phone rang.
