She carefully shoed him and put a boot on after cleaning the hoof out then moved to the other hoof

She quickly found an abscess in the same spot as the other and started to clear it out

"I could be wrong but id say this was done to him that it didnt just happen by chance..." she said as she pulled the nail out

She set his hoof down slowly "Good boy." She said patting his neck "Most horses would have kicked me for that." She said

She laughed. "Yeah, it didn't look like it felt good, but it's better than some of the stuff he's gone through"
