She smiled and tied him with a stronger lead. "Good boy" she said happily, scratching his withers gently before walked to Rose. Rose knew she had no more time, no way to get out of this contact that she expected to be either a beating or a death sentence, but she was tied in a way that she couldn't snap or kick, she had no defense. She just waited, her whole body tense.
Julie sighed. "Poor filly" she muttered softly, untying her ropes and chains and slipping a halter over her head, before quickly removing the hobbles.
Rose felt the pressure on her neck and feet vanish, but had no idea of what to do. She slowly lifted her head to face her.

Julie smiled at Rose, but Rose tried to pull away from her. "Come on" she said softly, reaching to her neck to pet her. She instantly dropped her head, as if she still had the ropes on. Julie sighed and led her into the trailer, Rose walked slowly behind her, taking tiny steps and keeping her head low, trying to make it look like she was still tied and hobbled to anyone that was going to hurt her for getting out.

Rose snorted, but made no sound otherwise as Julie led her into the trailer and tied her. She checked their feed and water once more before closing the back of the trailer. She walked through the barn and field checking for any that she missed.
