Welcome to BYC! Glad you joined us.

All I give my chicks in their first 5 weeks is chick feed and the occasional sprinkle of shredded lettuce or spinach

The protein content in dried meal worms and cracked corn can damage the chicks' kidneys, and so will layer feed.
