Happy little chicks in their chicken mansion for the first time!

The chicken mansion is done! Today I'm letting them get used to the area and explore a bit. They'll go back into the garage tonight because it is supposed to snow tonight. Tomorrow I'll let them back out during the day and have them out there full time. I'm a little nervous because tomorrow night the low is supposed to be 19*F but they are 6 weeks old so they should be good to go!

They seemed SUPER happy to be out of the brooder box and have more space to explore and play.

Got them to eat some starter feed and mealworms out of my hand <3

Moving from the brooder to the coop is a big day for the flock. They'll enjoy checking out their new home!

They're having a blast out there. Every time I go check on them they seem so happy and lively. I'm going to bring them back in tonight just to be on the safe side but tomorrow, they'll go out and stay out. I'm sure I'll probably have to put them in the roost by hand but they don't seem to mind being handled
