Happy Pride month

Why am i not surprised to see you post something like that.
Oh, but galanie, it's terribly funny in this case! Pride has come before a fall, here - Kristy took a tumble when a step broke yesterday (she said so on another thread). She was relatively unscathed (fortunately, or it wouldn't be funny at all), but the juxtaposition of this thread and that incident is priceless!

Folks - we would like to allow this thread to continue; however, we are already seeing issues.

Regardless of which side of the fence you are on, if you do not agree with a post, report it. DO NOT reply to it. If your post is not helpful, nor adding to the discussion, MOVE ON.

Thank you Wynette.

In my area, a groundbreaking pamphlet was just released in time for this month. Ready for the ultra-progressiveness? The gist was, "hmm...maybe disowning our gay and lesbian children and kicking them to the curb *isn't* the best way to go about things". I am glad that calling attention to these issues has improved them, even if there is still a lot of ground to cover.

That is a good pamphlet.
With any issue, there will always be ground to cover, but at least every day is a step towards improvement.

Happy Pride Month, everyone! May the world be more accepting of who you are the next time Pride Month rolls around.
