Im grateful for every minute I get to spend with my husband no matter how we spend it. He has cancer. We went thru treatment but it looks like it may be back. We have no treatment options if it is. Every single second with him is a gift.. a gift I am very thankful for.
I am thankful that my family has settled into our new homes in Portland before this cold weather started, for my grandson's and my three beautiful chickens, for my son-in-law for working in the rain and cold to turn my potting shed into a chicken coup (almost done).
I am thankful for my friends and family.
I am thankful for my church and youth group.
I am thankful for all the people in the world who put so much time and effort into helping the less fortunate people. I learned how much work it can be after volunteering for 6-7 hours at a soup kitchen today, and at the soup kitchen there are some people who do it three times a day, every single day, for the whole entire year!
I am thankful for the food and clean water I have, and the roof that is over my head.
I am thankful for being fortunate enough to have parents who taught me to have good values.
I am thankful for all my animals/pets, especially my chickens!
