I have a lot of different breeds of none products layers. My favorite is the naked neck. I have always enjoyed all the info of this site. I am glad to be able to offer mine when someone is looking for help. Have had chickens for over 10 years and really enjoy my birds. I do have a couple older girl of 10 plus years. They are very special.

10 years or more is a good age for chickens. My eldest is 9 and is showing no signs of mellowing despite her age.
