After several years of begging my pre-teen daughter started raising chickens. She got her first 7 Easter Eggers last year and added 3 more this spring. I never thought I would enjoy chickens but hers are so funny and sweet, I really enjoy when the run up to me as soon as I enter the yard. My other daughter has bees and I have a dog, and would gladly have almost any other animal join our family, but the yard and the house are full.
