Harched out my first black tailed red marans

I ordered some black tailed red marans from Cackle hatchery last spring and have been really impressed with the breed. Great looking bird and really dark eggs. Just hatched out a dozen eggs, 4 of the BTRM and 7 f4 olive egger and one BCM. Hot 44 more eggs in the bator now

I have some chicks myself due to hatch on the 18th, cant wait.

aChixlady im in east Tennessee and unfortunately I only have a couple of the Black tailed red marans hens but im in the process of hatching several batches of their eggs. I would be happy to send you some of the eggs if you have a incubator

I have several bloodlines of Black copper marans (Bev Davis, Wade Jean and Lil Peddler) and they all lay beautiful eggs but the one BTRM hen lays a consistently darker egg than any of them
