I have caught one of my hens acting a bit off, standing like she is uncomfortable. Picked her up and her abdomen is hard, feels like there could? possibly be an egg by her leftish side, close to the vent.
Sadly I have to leave for work, so am posting this hoping for advice and treatment? Will be getting her into an epsom salt soak and some calcium when I get home, but will check back for more or other advice here later. Thank you all for you time and help!!

Can you have her swallow a calcium tablet now, and keep her in a warm room with food and water on a towel? When did she last lay?
Unsure when she last layed, being winter and all. She is 2.5 yrs old, smaller hen. I soaked her in epsom salts & gave her calcium. She has been inside for 10 hrs now and seems to not want to lay down but only stands, and only pooped once in all that time, so that has me concerned now. I have her inside a cage with a perch, and will don a glove and see what I can feel in the morning. Updates- just checked her vent and felt no egg, she did poop when I did that, very normal looking if extra smelly. She bit me, which is very normal for her- she's not a sweet bird 😆 Not sure what to do next? Do you have any further suggestions? Thank you Eggcessive! 🙏🏻
