Fed a mashed up hard-boiled egg to my two-week old babies and they gobbled it up like they'd never eaten before! Can I add that to their daily diet as a supplement to their starter feed and if so, do I need to provide them with grit?[IMG]

Grit isn't necessary for them to digest chopped hard boiled egg.

I don't think I'd feed it to them EVERY day, maybe every 2nd or 3rd day. I've noticed if I give my chicks a whole bowl full everyday, it makes their pooh very runny.

For everyone over a month old, I do sprinkle a tablespoon of egg over their breakfast, and have noticed no ill effect.
