Hard boiling my eggs: whites stick to shell... ???

I have a little device that puts a tiny hole in end of egg. don't know where i got it but works great to keep the eggs from breaking during boiling and makes it easy to peel also.
looks like a tiny egg cup and you push the egg down into it and a small pin sticks the end.....

I have heard eggs must be at least a week old to peel good. I was also told you could add some vinegar to the water when boiling and this would help. I tried it and it did help!

Put a good amount of salt in the water. It makes the water boil faster and the shells come off perfectly! I usually put like a whole tablespoon in!
