Hard bump on chicken beak

I got this 3 month old silkie bantum today and she seems to have a hard bump on the side of her beak near her nostril. Anyone know what it might be? Tried to remove it but it's attached. It seems to be irritating her.

It is contagious but It will dissapear in about a month or so. I tagged a person that knows a lot more about it than me. I would wait for her advice on how to treat it

I answered on your pm. The scabs can be contagious, so don’t disturb them. Many paint Betadine (povidone iodine) on scabs to help dry them out and disinfect them. Most chickens recover in about a month from this virus. She should be immune to pox in the future.
