Incubation started at 10:30pm on day 1. We are almost half way through day 22. I am having troubles monitoring temp and humidity as everything that can go wrong regarding that has. One chick hatched 32 h ago, is healthy and dry. Another piped 36h ago but outside the air cell. I think we’ve lost it. No other eggs have piped. Is this the best time to remove the chick? If the others do make it, they still have a long way to go. Do I get baby out now before next potential pip?

Is it knocking into and rolling your other eggs around? Or do you have the eggs set up in a carton? I think having a chick peeping and pecking the eggs is good if in a carton and cannot move. But rolling and knocking them all over might confusing them on which way is up?

Technically, it can stay in there a little longer but if you want to take it out and check on the other pipped one, you can too. Good luck!

They are stable. If it can only stay a little longer am I not better getting it out before any more pips?
