Hard luck eggs pipping! Hatch pictures added

Try this for Hard Luck Eggs...sent eggs to Colorado. Got there in three days after customer went to P.O. and was assured that her pkg would NOT be delivered and they would DEFINITELY call her to pick it up. Guess what? She gets home from work today and sees in her driveway, in the snow, my box of eggs, marked with a bunch of FRAGILE stickers, HOLD at P.O. Call Customer for PickUp sticker and DO NOT FREEZE written on the box. Didn't even bother to bring it up to the porch, just left it in the driveway! The carrier should be fired. Now, those are some hard luck eggs! I'm so glad I put quilt batting in there with all my excessive bubblewrap.

That is sad and madning.....at least once they get to my post office they get good treatment. My mail lady always teases me about my eggs. I think they do it (mistreat those boxes) just because they know they can get away with it. Hopefully they weren't setting there too long.

Thanks...how are yours doing? This is my fourth batch of eggs to hatch in the last week and a half. My hubby thinks I'm nuts!!

My hubby thinks I am nuts too!
I guess I have to be cause I am on my "lunch" break at work right now and am online with all of you! LOL

My eggs are actually doing well from the 24 I had 20 have made it past the candling at day 18 and looked great(moving and stuff). Now I have about 6 eggs that are wobbling and the rest are just sitting there. Of course now I am worried about them but its only day 19. Hahaha

This will be interesting.....I can not wait to get off work so I can see eggs moving and hopefully a pip!

This morning the two that were pipped are running around the incubator and there is one more pipped.

This is day 21, so hopefully they'll be some more over the next day or so.

Thanks for posting this, Katy. I have eggs in my bator that took 7 days to get here, were cold when I took them out of their packaging. I've been sure I was wasting my time.

Now.. I'll be a little more hopeful

I guess it just proves that sometimes they're tougher than we think. I really thought they were done for the other day when they got so cold.
