Hello all, so we have 3 beautiful young Royal Palm Turkeys, less than a year old, 1 tom and 2 hens.
Within 24 hours, I noticed that the toms waddle looked as if he had sustained an injury. On closer inspection, I cant confirm that its in fact an injury at all, but there is a mass along the leading edge of his waddle (please see pics). Its somewhat hard to the touch, not really squishy. It doesnt seem to bother him but theres something obviously going on. Its been like this for 2 days now.
Obviously we dont want anything to happen to him. He's the sweetest guy ever, following us all over the property.
I have them on garlic water and they get cayenne mixed in throughout the week during normal feedings.
Anyone know what Im dealing with and any suggestions on what to do or how to treat? Any help would be grateful.
