First...pardon the pun.

I recently went to a friends house and she had several rex rabbits. I immediately fell in love. I used to have rabbits, but they were actually meat rabbits we got from some friends who looked like they wanted to eat somebody. (The rabbits, not the friends!) However, I want to get some Rex rabbits and I actually know a quality breeder. SO. This is the probably crazy idea. I *thought* I saw somewhere (might have been here) that somebody kept their rabbit with their chickens. Is that possible/safe for both parties? I do have a pretty nice bunny hutch but figured the coop is bigger. The rabbit would live with the chickens during the evening/morning and be penned up when the chickens are out to free range.

People keep rabbits and chickens together and it works.

Some friends of ours do it, and here is a picture (no chickens, but they are in the same barn with them and the cats)
