has any one hatched eggs bought online under a broody hen

i wanted to try it has any one ever done it? i want to try it w/ turkey eggs. my turkey hen is very broody but no tom thanks everyone

I had a baby hatch out today under momma hen - I bought eggs here..... and they were mailed to me!

Well, today was day 21, I heard peeping very early this morning and finally this afternoon saw a baby - the speckled sussex (I posted a pic here somewhere - LOL) I've not gone digging under her to see what else she's hiding... I'm hoping for at least a couple more babies...

I didn't do anything with the eggs, other than un-wrap em

I let them rest for a few hours and then gave em to mom....
She'd been broody and sitting for a week already, so I was in a bit of a rush to get them under her.

I was so surprised when one actually hatched! That was my first experience shipping eggs and I was so worried about it. I am glad your chick hatched Wildsky!
