IMG_6969.jpeg IMG_6970.jpeg I have 12 hens 7 months old. They have been laying pretty much 10-12 eggs every day since July. The last couple days I’ve had 9 or 10, today 11, but with the soft egg. Today there were 3 piles on my poop board this morning. And a broken soft egg. One pile looked like a tiny egg when I scraped it up, it looked like egg membrane. I’m not sure what the other two piles were, poop or what. Does anyone have any ideas? IMG_6968.jpeg

Looks like a shell membrane, some albumen (egg whites), yolk and perhaps some lash material, hard to tell.

Do you know which pullet is expelling that?

At only 7months of age, it's a bit alarming to see that many with issues.

If you know which girls are having issues, give them each 300mg Calcium Citrate+D3 once daily for a week.

See that they are eating a nutritionally balanced poultry feed and have oyster shell free choice.
