Has anybody ever watched Green Acres?

i always wondered why the guys on Bonanza always had on the same clothes. The same with the Duke boys Bo with the yellow shirt and Luke with the blue shirt. Boss Hog and the white suit.

What gives?

When I was a kid Friday night was Harper Valley PTA, Dukes of Hazard and then bed. I had to sneak out of bed and watch Dallas from behind the couch.

A show that I miss-and I am about to date myself-is Johnny Carson. Sometimes, for a treat, my grandmother would let me stay up and watch the show with her.

Oh well, I will just be the entertainment at work tomorrow.

I loved that show when I was a kid.

We still have to climb the telephone pole to use dsl here. Mr. Douglas of course had no cell phone so he had to climb the pole to make a call.

A neighbor of ours (God bless him) has been known to us as "Mr. Haney" since we moved in. He came to visit one day while my oldest DD was there. As he pulled into the driveway, I said...Here comes Mr. Haney..and oh..by the way..his name is (Blah blah blah) not Haney so don't call him that. She looked at me startled. What?...Never seeing Green Acres she just didn't get it.

We also had to set up a generator one year when the power went out for 2 weeks. My husband explained we had to plug things in like Lisa Douglas to keep from burning things up!!! 2 and a 4 or 3 and a 6 but not a 4 and a 6 etc etc..
