Hello, I had one hatch and it died but it had a ruff cold ride. But I know another BYC member who bought from them and did really well

Oh, I had a lovely hatch from her eggs! Great chicks, both golden laced and silver laced LF cochins. Now, I'm one of those folks who is happy if ONE chick hatches from any batch, and eggstatic if TWO make it. But I had four from one dozen and six from another. Maybe my expectations are low, but I am seldom disappointed that way.

I bought 42 and none hatched. Blood rings on day 10 and clear eggs. They had a rough ride. Very nice people though. They offered a dozen replacements if I pay shipping.this was back in Jan when it was cold as the Dickens.

Ouch - 0/42 hurts. I hope I have your luck, gryeyes! I'm just nervous because they were very slow to get here and I have very few with veining, but it's only day 5 so I haven't thrown any out. I'm keeping my fingers crossed! Gryeyes, I would love to see pics if you happen to have any handy!!! Sorry about your little one, happyhens.

I ordered a big box of them last year, and had only a few develop, none for long. I didn't contact them, and I gave them good feedback, because they got them to me well....we all know about shipping!

Well, I candled all of the 17 eggs last night and only 2 have definite development. 2 others I'm holding out hope for. I ditched 2 that had blood rings and 1 with nothin'. I am really hoping that because I'm new at this maybe I'm wrong, but they sure do appear to be clear. BUT... 17 eggs from a different seller are developing great and I can even see movement and veining in the Marans eggs with my candler. I'm super bummed about it. I decided to wait until day 10, candle again, and then contact the seller if it's still looking bleak. I guess I'm just wondering if it's even worth it to try and get replacements??? Heathersboers, have you decided if you are going to take them up on their offer? Thanks again!
