Are you sure she is cold? losing down is normal to a point and they can look quite naked. I'm sure you've seen this with your others. Is her feather beginning to grow out?
Did you wrap her little wing?

No feathers at all. All the others have them coming in, but None on Joy. And yes, if you unwrap her or open a door or anything, she squeals and dives under the blanket. She wont stop flipping and squealing until you cover her.Are you sure she is cold? losing down is normal to a point and they can look quite naked. I'm sure you've seen this with your others. I took a bunch of older blankets & different shirts that dont fit the kids anymore & cut them to "Joy blanket-wrap" size. Have a pile of maybe 2 dozen or so. And I do her laundry just like mine. Because when we wake up in the morning, she cant wait to get out of her blanket has always contains a poop-ball or 2, since she cant obviously back up & use the bathroom like other ducklings. It's her security blankie. Well you have alot of things to discuss with the vet.
May be. Theres a few other slightly off things as well. She can hold her neck up good but she hangs it straight down ON her belly also. Of course, her size. Then she has a bulge of "fat"(?) that she doesnt do it as much anymore, but her neck & head always used to go to 1 side of it instead of the middle. And also something in her beak/nare/sinus area. Every single sip she takes comes out of her nares, shes Never tried to blow out of them to clean them, so....not sure. Shes starting to shake side to side ALOT now while she eats. Figuring things out as we go. Shes my cutie tho.Great to hear everything is good in your world. I hope your veterinarian can figure out a way for Joy to have a good life. I do wonder if her leg abnormality is connected to feathering problems.
