Has anyone bred Pekin and welsh harlequin ducks together??

Yeah, I guess you're right. I just thought I remembered their yellow down falling out and white feathers coming in. But.....my memory is shot so, makes sense.

Sometimes I see little pcs of down here & there that came off of her but for the most part, shes still got most of hers. She has a little bushel of starting feathers Behind each wing, then you can feel a few stalks poking through on her chest area. Also some on her tail. Other than that, shes just taking her time.

And the 2nd batch, Callie, Marley, & Mabel, are all 1month old yesterday, today, & tomorrow.
Both sets are holiday babies. Xmas babies, and New Years babies
Celeste feet are looking better. 1 is only slightly turned in. Eyes are def.draining fluid but Patiently waiting for the Terramycin to arrive in mail. Now Marleys feet, hers are def.turned in still & shes still stepping 1 foot on top of the other. So, I think I'm going to have to try something else. Still giving the BComplex tho. Worked great for Celestes feet, just not much for Marleys

Feet an leg problems can usually work themselves out if caught early. Hopefully the b complex will help Marley enough that she can at least walk with out stumbling. Happy to hear Celeste is doing much better.

Good morning everyone. I had a question for you. I was just sitting & "talking with" Emmie (my grown female W.H.). I noticed that the whole time were standing there, shes slowly opening & closing her opposite eye. Had 1 eye open, looking at me, and the other eye was closed, sometimes opening & closing randomly. Since this is something I've never noticed before..... just wanted to check & see if anyone else has seen this. Is it normal? Hoping it is and not some new eye injury or scratch of some kind. Thanks so much!!

Posted this morning but I guess I didnt hit the Post button!!
Well, she hasn't done it since. Wierd,huh?!? But I guess good since I see no injury. I filled our garden tub with warm water to let her soak and swim, just in case she had something in her eye. Heres a pic tho.

She’s just adorable. Getting her in the tub might have took care of a speck of dust. I’m happy to hear she isn’t it doing it any longer.
