I was wondering if anyone crossed Mille Fleur D'uccles with Porcelain D'uccles...and what would you get? Can anyone share pics of offspring of those two??? I would be forever in your debt.

I think I have heard that someone on here did and you get 50% Milles and 50% porcelain

ETA:Gracefulbantams that is who it was!!!! ask her

Um...I have 2 different ideas of what might happen and its either

you get all millies from first gen, but they carry the porcelain dilute gene

OR

you get 50% of each color...really can't remember which one it is LOL

I just found the info! I hope this is correct.

This was quoted from Kev

Perhaps to give perspective.. a mille fluer crossed with a porcelain gives you mille fluers. Because they are both literally the same pattern, the same color genes etc.. except porcelains have one extra- the lavender gene. It's recessive so the result are normal mille fluers. However if you cross one of the offspring to a porcelain, you get half porcelains and half milles.

This is REALLY nice to know!
