I'm not sure what forum to post this in but has anyone eaten a Bresse or American Bresse? Was it worth the hype? They are beautiful birds and I stumbled across a mix that might be a productive dual purpose but before I go too far down this rabbit trail I was curious if there really is a taste difference?

I want one ,,,,, but only as a pet BTW. I do not eat my chickens.
My understanding about the Breese in France,,,,, they are fed a certain diet prior to processing.
There are certain tricks peeps do to enhance flavor, like Foie gras. I see that as cruel, but feeding chickens certain feed, I think its something like yogurt, but not certain. I see that as not cruel.
WISHING YOU BEST,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, :highfive:

I raise a block of White Bresse in the last 4-5 years. They are very good (tasty and favorable). I tasted 30+ breeds over the years. This is only breed that I have now due to limited space.
