Has anyone else seen this in a cat before?

I have been slave to a cat all my life. I saw her when I went to cat protection to look at her 2 remaining kittens. The others had been homed. I was already getting the kittens (a house without a cat is horrible) when she climbed on my lap and that was it. She was 11 months when she came home with me and her kittens where 3 months so it was first season and first (and only )litter. Seemingly cat protection got her because she walked into someone house and gave birth to 4 kittens.

I know that everytime i bring my cats to the vets or groomers..
my other cats always hiss and spit at them for a few days..cause they smell different...or something. But they are always okay after a few days....

Maybe it IS the anesthetic...
I know a lady that went under and when she woke up she was waaay screwed up.... actually had to go into a nursing home for a bit... it was like she got Dementia over night or something..
It IS rare to have it happen though..but i have seen it happen... so its possible.
