Has anyone ever actually SEEN the first pip actually HAPPEN?

I have, several times. When I first started hatching eggs I had the bator set up right next to my computer. Of course at that time I was always on it so as soon as I started hearing chirping I would sit and watch the eggs in anticipation. Goes to show how boring my life is to sit for hours and watch the eggs in the bator. I would stay up all night and say till all eggs had hatched. I didn't want to miss a thing. I wouldn't go anywhere either. Now I have 3 bators set up in the spare bedroom along with the brooders and I just go and check on them. I even sleep all night now and leave the house for hours even though I expect chicks to hatch. I know they will still be there when I get back. It's not like their going anywhere now are they.
