The moorehens were a rescue, I found a nest near the reeds with crows eating the eggs, but I managed to save 3, the pigeons hatched them, then I handraised them (I was 12 LOL) they were taken to a bird sanctuary. It was so funny..... the pigeons kept opening their mouths to feed them
The rail chicks were handraised by me for the first week then I put them under a sebright hen..... she did a great job with them. PS just put some belgian danvers and silver pied guineas under a sebright hen last night, doin great this morning..... the hen has been broody for nearly 8 weeks, so I gave in.
