We found this under the wing of one of our 4 week old broad breasted bronzes yestereday

It's two air bubbles, roughly the size of a nickel. Only on the one side. They seem to cause him no distress, even if I poke them. He acts exactly like the other poults, eating, drinking, running around, peeping whenever I leave the room.... I check all the others over. I found two with tiny air bubbles in their "armpits" but so tiny I would never have noticed unless I was looking for t hem specifically. For now I'm simply observing. I'm not really sure what it is and what the best treatment is. Any thoughts? should I lance it?

if it were me i'd just leave them alone and observe. Lancing seems like it might possibly open the poult up to infection. I bet with time the body will reabsorb the air or fluid in the sac. If its not causing any pain or discomfort, and it's protected under the wing - let it ride - IMO.

Yeah, I'm not a big fan of lancing either, because of the introducing infection through an open wound business. It's just so weird! and it seems to be essentially just air in the sac. this is my first time with turkeys so I just have absolutely no idea what it is or how to treat it.
