Has anyone ever taken their hen to the Vet for sour crop?

Just want to give an update:
I didn't think her crop would ever be flat in the morning, and I was really giving up but on the 14th, her crop was flat and has been flat since then, every morning. Now I have to get her fat enough to put her back outside because she really was so thin I'm surprised she made it. Once her crop straightened out, her comb, face and wattles turned pink again, as they were practically white.

Even after the antibiotics, the crop was not flat but I kept giving the slippery elm and the poultry drench. I do believe the slippery elm helped and/or it just took some time after for the difulcan and antibiotic to work..Not sure but she made it.

Thank you for the update and I am so happy that she made it! This post made my day.
