Has anyone gotten chickens from Sadie Girl Farm?

Has anyone bought Black Copper Marans chicks from Sadie Girl Farms before? I'm thinking of ordering chicks from there.

Tagging along just to see reviews. I see their stock came from 3 lines (Greenfire, L.P. and Bev Davis)

@Island Coppers IIRC just recently got some from Greenfire stock and has very nice birds and egg color.

ETA...you could try asking in the Main Marans thread also and may get you some more helpful insight.

There were two sources of stock. Rising Phoenix Farms and a local farm with Greenfire genetics in their line. Rising Phoenix Farms which stopped selling them recently, had some prize winning birds. The pair of roosters I kept are from them. They have the larger square body type that is important to the SOP.
I just checked Sadie Girls Farm, looks like they are sold out of BCM's for the moment.

I have, got chicks from her last year and will be ordering some from her again. Unfortunately Im only left with one hen from her but she lays very dark eggs and is easy going and friendly.

I don't know if there is a wait time right now. I did order some chicks, which were supposed to arrive April 2-3, but which are now delayed 2 weeks because her Belgian B'uccles ( ordered 2), are late to start laying this year. She did have extra Marans chicks as of a a few days ago.

Wow, thanks so much for the reply! I am new to this website. Are we allowed to talk about other poultry like quail? Haha. I do not know the guidelines yet here. However, I did notice that they specialize in quail on their farm when I placed an order. Thanks again

I just noticed it says Sold Out for Olive Egger and B'uccles chicks, but she does have Marans available. I did order my 14 ( mix ofvMarans, OE, and B'uccles) 2 months ago, but she was willing ship when I wanted them ( early April). Not sure if that's still the case as there have been more orders since then?

I actually ordered my first quail from her recently, too. They are supposed to ship late April. She has info about how to care for quail on her website and can send info/ answers questions via email, too. She seems very nice.
