Has anyone ordered from Brinkhaven Acres?

Do you have updated pictures of how they are turning out?
They are 2 months old now, one silver laced hen looks very good, hoping the others lacing will improve as she gets older. I ended up with 2 hens and 2 roosters in the silver laced, unfortunately one rooster had a straight comb so I rehomed him. The silver penciled I ended up with 5 hens and 3 roosters which I think is really good, I guess the lacing on the silver penciled develop with age.

I really like these birds! They need some work if you’re trying to breed towards the SOP but they have great personalities, very hardy and intelligent which is why I love them. I’ve had Silver Laced from Foley’s line and from my experience they are super fragile, literally will drop dead from the smallest things, they also weren’t very smart at all. But these birds from Brinkhaven acres are definitely worth it depending on what your looking for of course. Also my Silver Penciled Wyandotte’s are excellent layers! They almost lay as good as production reds lol. As for my 2 silver laced hens so far only one hen is laying not sure why and the hen that is laying is laying an egg every other day which isn’t bad.

Just wanted to update, I love the vigor these birds have but unfortunately I’m having problems with feather picking and cannibalism whenever I try to raise chicks from them. Once the chicks hit about 3 weeks they start feather picking and eventually turns into cannibalism if not separated quickly. Also my adult Silver Laced hens started feather picking each other obsessively, no matter how much room or entertainment I give, it has been hopeless trying to correct it. I’ve asked many different breeders about this and they said it was most likely genetic.
