I just finished that book---it was a joy to read.

We have alot of parallels in our lives and we also both live in the same area so that made reading the book alot of fun too.

She does mention a few people from BYC in her book.

    Check it out.

Perhaps a google search will help you. [IMG] Amazon.com has a huge selection also. And they have access to used books too.

Quote:She's Kielarski or something... It was an okay book. Very rudementary as instruction and not enough "oomph" to be an interesting memoir. And: She recommends cedar shavings - yikes.
A friend gave me 'Keeping Chickens' by Hobson & Lewis - gorgeous photos and solid basic info. A perfect first book for would-be or new chicken farmers.
