It looks like you may have gotten a rare “blue Fawn” Mallard.![]()
Time will tell.
Blue fawns may lay a green tinted egg while natural mallards produce a cream/white colored egg. This may be another way to tell when laying.![]()

Has anyone seen a mallard with this coloring before? We got her at TSC and the other three we got have the more traditional coloring.
