Oh man, yes they never stop talking. Or demanding whatever it is their ducky brains think up. The minute they hear my voice, or see me, they burst into obnoxious quacking and head bobbing. They are the hyenas of poultry world. Except cuter
I must have laid back suburban trained calls. Mine do not talk all that much at all. When They do they are loud. .yes. But it's just once in a while when they want something or something is going on like when I had drakes penned up next to them. :confused:

My Cayuga ducks quack way more frequently than my calls.
I live close to where I work and I drive home on breaks and they are usually napping.
Right now it's dark, we've been outside all evening and haven't heard a peep out of them for hours.

My calls have attitude problems. They get in nasty fights with my chickens. My Bantam rooster and Call drake duked it out and the rooster mutilated the drake’s face. I thought his eyes was plucked out but turned out it was beneath a swollen flap of skin for a couple weeks. I sure was happy to see an eye pop out one day :lol:
