I am interested in hearing from anyone who has tried Poulin Grain Layer Pellets. I live near their packaging facility and there for I can buy direct from them at a discount. I currently am feeding my hens Blue Seal Layer Pellets but I will consider changing to Poulin because of the cost, if I dont hear bad thing from anyone.

My chicken friend recommends Poulin over Blue Seal. I'm in the process of switching over. The local feed store also says they have a better relationship with Poulin b/c it's smaller, family owned, people who answer the phone care about meeting the customers' needs...whereas with Blue Seal, though family owned, it's now very large and sometimes difficult to get a hold of someone when you have a concern. Good luck!

I haven't used the layer pellets yet but I will when I next need to buy some. I've been using the starter and the grower and like them much better than Purina. I've had no problems with those at all!

I read somewhere (sorry can't remember where) that these girls were making a business out of selling their chickens eggs at farmers markets and mentioned that when they switched from Blue Seal to Poulin, their egg production went way up.
Found the article again. Specifically they said on Blue Seal they were not laying much and now on the Poulin they crank them eggs out...
