Has anyone tried the egg carton hatching method with bantam eggs?

I have some silkie eggs that are going to hatch this week and am thinking about trying the egg carton hatching method. If anyone has done this I would appreciate feedback. Especially because the eggs are smaller in the carton. Any modifications?

You can put clean sand in the cartons, and press the point of the egg into the sand just enough to keep from wobbling

I've done silkies in it and they did just fine.

I just hatched 3 from small then silkie eggs with out doing any thing special and they hatched first with no trouble at all!

I did Old English Bantams and it worked fine-- I didn't modify it at all-- had five out of seven hatch...

I have also hatched a few different bantam eggs in the carton with out any difficulty.
