Has anyone tried the spring chicken Zen house coop refresher?

saw this stuff at tsc and got it because I was gonna clean the coop. It’s got essential oil stuff in it? But I was wondering if anyone has tried it.
No, but I heard lavender in their nests and bedding would make it smell better. You can even feed it to them and their poo would smell better. I have never tried it, but I read it somewhere.

Out the chicken door or they pile it up by my door and it all falls out when I open it.
Put some kind of removable board to block that during routine chores,
then you can remove the board when doing a full clean out.
If you post pic of the door opening, we can help you figure out how to do that.

Very expensive considering uses you get out of it. I bought it once and researched the ingredients to see if I could make my own in larger batches. It breaks down to: Baking Soda, insect killer/detoxifier (a food grade material used in organic gardening and also taken as a human supplement, safe to consume ), silica gel powder, and your essential oils. The baking soda and essential oils are essentially pet safe. The silica gel powder is said to be non-toxic, but it can cause irritation to skin, mucous membranes, and the respiratory tract. You really don't get enough in the little jugs from TSC to make a difference. But you can buy your odor busting agents- baking soda and essential oils just about anywhere, and the Diatomaceous Earth from your local lawn and garden center. The silica aerogel powder, which is the moisture absortption agent, it a little trickier. I am not aware of anywhere that you can just "get it". However, if you are using pine shavings in your coop these will absorb moisture. So, using pine shavings and making your own mixure of essential oils, baking soda, and diatmoaceious earth will at least help keep your coop a little fresher and at a better price. But is there REALLY anyway to make chicken poop smell better?!
